I've been kicking around the idea of starting a blog for quite a while now. I wasn't sure if I could handle the demand of daily postings, food photos, and the sheer honesty bearing yourself to the world. After realizing I only need to post as much as I want or make it as anonymous as you want. Veggie Girl is a great example of this. Her weekly recaps are just want she wants and I didn't even know her real name until accidentally stumbling upon it on another foodie blog. :)
I think at this point I'm going to use for the same purpose as so many of the other young women who blog do - create a sense of community for like minded people and make it fun. I'll share my work outs, some good meals, and fun things going on in my life, but try not to let become a chore or a responsiblity. When things stop being fun and start consuming your life, be it food, work, exercise, a relationship, it's time to step back, re-evaluate, and move toward goals that make you happy again. Anyway, I will be attending the Healthy Living Blog Summit in Boston, so I think that was finally the kicker. I'm here, and I hope you'll all get something out of this rambling.
So here's the month of July (two whole days!) exercise:
Wed. July 1:
hour bike ride (can't wait to set up my odometer!)
circuit and lead classes at work (wait'll I get around to my "What I do for work" post! Wee!)
Thurs. July 2:
legs and sprinting drills with my trainer
Ange's SGBC day 1 (apparently my abs suck more than I realized. Ugh.)
few hours in the climbing gym (love, love, love it!)
